Why to Vote “No” on Kentucky Constitutional Amendment 1
The amendment would destroy Kentucky’s system of checks of balances, between the three branches of government, by allowing state lawmakers to begin a legislative session and start making laws without working with the Executive Branch. Kentucky does not need unchecked politicians. On November 8th Vote “no” on Constitutional Amendment number (1).
Why to Vote “No” on Kentucky Constitutional Amendment 2
The amendment would ban a woman’s right to reproductive choice. This amendment was created following the U.S. Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe v Wade. Now, each state must decide if abortion and reproductive choice is legal. A “no” vote will ensure that a woman and her doctor--not the state constitution—governs personal health care decisions.
